Important! Please schedule an appointment before coming to the embassy.

Even though many of our services are provided free of charge, in a number of instances a fee has to be charged. Please find below the list of fees charged for the most frequently requested services. Payment must be made in US$ by money order (payable to Embassy of Austria) or cash (exact change only please).

Visa & Residence

  • Schengen Visa C: 72.00
  • Schengen Visa C for children (6 to12 years): 42.00
  • Schengen Visa C for children (0 to 6 years): free of charge
  • Schengen Visa C for citizen of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova and Georgia: 42.00
  • Austrian National Visa D (study abroad, employment, intern, etc.): 119.00
  • Residence Permit: 96.00
  • Fingerprints for Residence Permit: 24.00
  • Residence Permit for Minors (under 18 years):  60.00

  • New Passport: 91.00
  • Passport for children (under 12 years): 36.00
  • One-Day Express Passport: 262.00
  • One-Day Express Passport for children (under 12 years): 197.00
  • New Personal ID: 74.00

  • Certificate of Citizenship: 58.00
  • Authentication of a signature: 48.00

  • Consular services outside regular opening hours: surcharge of 50% on the applicable consular fee
