“We are carefully following up on any information and the slightest clues”
 Vienna, 25 March 2008 - At today’s press conference Foreign Minister Ursula Plassnik also
commented on the latest developments in the kidnapping of Andrea Kloiber and Wolfgang Ebner.
"We all are trying to secure the quick release of the two Austrians. We are working energetically at all levels and are following up on any information or clues in a careful and systematic manner," stated Plassnik. At the same time the Minister asked her audience to understand that in the interest of the security of Wolfgang Ebner and Andrea Kloiber no details could be divulged.
She also expressed her thanks to the members of the crisis team and the Austrian missions in the region for their tireless commitment on behalf of the two Austrians. "They are doing everything they can for Andrea Kloiber and Wolfgang Ebner, as if they were their own relatives," concluded Plassnik.
