Piano improvisations concert | Monday November 03 | 7:30 pm | Embassy of Austria

The Austrian pianist and composer Elisabeth Harnik is famous for her piano improvisations. Her compositions have been performed at many national and international festivals. Not only does she perform as a solo artist, her CD is called “irrt, irrt das ohr” by Extraplatte 2005, but she is also member of many ensembles for improvised music. Elisabeth Harnik composes chamber-music, ensemble-music and music for theatre among which is the opera project “Kugelstein” with a libretto from Olga Flor. She gained the appreciation award from the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Graz in 2007.
