Results of the 2009 European Elections |

 Between 4 - 7 June 2009 the 27 member countries of the EU elected their representatives to the European Parliament, where 736 Members represent some 492 million EU citizens. A participation of 43 percent out of 388 million eligible voters marks one of the lowest turnouts in the history of the European elections.
