Born in Brno, Czech Republic, Magdalena Kozená ahs been awarded many prizes not only in her home country, but worldwide as well. In 2003, the French government awarded her the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts es des Lettres. She will be accompanied by the well-known pianist Karel Kosárek.
