LA Museum of the Holocaust honors AHMS Founder Andreas Maislinger |

 On November 8 2009 Andreas Maislinger, founder of the Austrian Holocaust Memorial Service , will be awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual Dinner of the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust . The AHMS is an international network that provides assistance to Holocaust-related archives and museums. Since 1992 there have been about 400 Austrian Holocaust Memorial Servants who are working to study and preserve Holocaust history in lieu of military service back home.
