mythology & more – styrian art & design
The artist Renate Summer presents a selection of her graphical work from the last few years on the theme mythology & more. Her technique ranges from reed pen over watercolors, mixed media to oil paintings.
With her mother Renate Summer, designer Eva Summer manages the creativ:e:werkstatt, studio for art & design in Graz/Austria. At the exhibition, Eva Summer will present evening gowns, selected designs and accessories from her new collection, which depicts the crest of Styria.
Renate Summer (artist)
Studied art history, painting and graphic design at the school of art (“Kunstgewerbeschule”) in Graz, under such acclaimed professors as Silveri and Osterider. Participation at several contests and art presentations like Prix Lancôme Austria.
More than three decades Renate Summer worked as a well known art teacher and made her many successful exhibitions both in Austria, Europe and in the United States.

Eva Summer (designer)
Successful graduate from the famous school of fashion and design at “Schloss Hetzendorf” in Vienna. Business academy with focus on organization and management leadership. Many seminars and awards in the field of fashion design. Years of experience in fashion and costume design, styling consulting and
interior design. A selection of her numerous references: high class traditional costume design for the famous company Gössl Salzburg in Austria. Member of the “Burgtheater Wien” as well as costume design for the Austrian Television ORF like the Show “Dancing with the Stars” and the “Operaball of Vienna”. Fairytales and Illustrations for the famous Austrian Chocolate Manufactory Felber. Collection with the Styrian crest for the ÖVP Styria.
