Famous Austrians

Austria is a country of stunning landscapes, a modern nation with a great deal of history, a country of diversity and plurality, where modern spirit goes hand in hand with deep-rooted traditions. And for centuries Austria has been and still is a fertile ground in which creativity and genius can blossom boundlessly.

Hence Austria brought forth a great number of personalities and characters, each one of them being an artist of in his own. Music, literature, art, architecture, sports, dance, science - with great pride Austria can look upon its famous spawns, many of them internationally renown, all of them worth mentioning.

Note that many of those named to the left have worked, lived and created in the United States, or still do so.
