The question whether new music is allowed to be fun seems redundant for SAXOFOUR. SAXOFOUR is new music. SAXOFOUR swallows new music whole and shows the lightness of combining acting, dance, and jazz creating music which doesn't stick to one particular genre; a celebration of the senses enabling the human being to sense that celebration without pondering over genres.

The concert will feature music from Mozart's "The Magic Flute" and our favorite film songs.
SAXOFOUR was founded on the occasion of the festival "Austria Jazz Tage Vöcklabruck 1991". Initially, the quartet drew upon Florian Bramböck's vast wealth of compositional treasures.
Soon, however, the other gentlemen also started making compositions and arrangements of their own. The four also created many a piece by improvising directly on short existing melodic motifs or harmonic chord progressions.
Saxofour toured Europe with Maria Joao, and worked on a program, which dealt with the music of maybe most popular Austrian composer, W.A.Mozart. The program was presented on expansive tours and recorded in 2009.
The new program "music for all occasions" was finished in 2012, recorded in 2013, and released on ATS Records 800389.
