New York: "YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK/USA" by Hannelore Amon (2006)

Austrian artist Hannelore Amon will exhibit with 'gallery STEINER - art & wine' at Artexpo New York 2016. For thirty-eight years and counting, Artexpo brings the biggest publishers, galleries and collectors face to face with hundreds of established and emerging artists.

This year, Artexpo will host over 400+ innovative exhibiting artists, galleries and publishers from across the globe, showcasing exciting original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, glass works and more—all under one roof at Pier 94.

The 'gallery STEINER - art & wine' is a modern art gallery in the heart of Vienna (Old Town). At Artexpo, it can be found at booth #106.

Friday, April 15th: 12PM – 7PM

Hannelore S. Amon studied languages in Vienna (Austria), Brussels (Belgium) London (England) and Siena (Italy), and worked for 23 years as a foreign language journalist for the Austrian radio-and television company (ORF) in Vienna, Austria.

Early in life she discovered her artistic talent and participated in various courses, workshops and seminars, such as at the academy of applied arts in Brussels, Belgium or with prof. Adolf Frohner at the academy in Vienna, Austria. She also completed a 7-semester course at the fine arts college in Vienna, Austria with a student of the late painter Max Weiler. Additionally, she successfully participated in the “Caterina de medici painting award” held in Florence, Italy and the summer academy in Zakynthos, Greece.

Besides creating art, Ms Amon also managed her own gallery “mango tango” in Vienna, promoting not only her own works of art but arranging showings for other artists as well. Her works have been shown in Austria, Italy, France, Belgium, the USA and the USVI, at the Shanghai Art Fair/China (November 2015), the Artexpo/New York, (April 2016), and at Schloss Liechtenstein/Austria (May 2016).

The artist presently lives and works in Scottsdale, Arizona and Vienna, Austria.
