New York: ACFMY SUPPORTED | FILM SCREENING PRIZE WINNERS FROM THE AASFF @ ANTHOLOGY FILM ARCHIVES

ABOUT THE AASFF
The Austrian American Short Film Festival (AASFF) is the first ever bilateral festival featuring short films in all forms and genres by promising young artists and filmmakers from both Austria and the United States. Set to take place annually, the three-day festival is both presented and hosted by the Austrian Cultural Forum New York (ACFNY), and the selection of winning films will be screened at Anthology Film Archives, New York, Museum of the Moving Image (MOMI), New York, and the frame[o]ut Festival, Museums- Quartier, Vienna.

AASFF WINNERS AT THE ANTHOLOGY FILM ARCHIVES
Immediately following the festival at the ACFNY, Anthology will host this special program showcasing the winning films, as selected by the international jury headed by celebrated Austrian filmmaker Jessica Hausner (HOTEL, LOURDES, AMOUR FOU). Austrian and American films will be presented together, with prizes awarded in three categories: best narrative film, best experimental/conceptual film, and best documentary/hybrid film. Festival Curator and Co-Founder Stephanie Falkeis will be present at the screening.
