Austrians again eligible for UN selection procedure

Applications must be sent in by 12 September 2012. After 2011, the Young Professionals Programme (YPP) of the United Nations Organisation is again open for Austrian citizens. The Federal Ministry of European and International Affairs invites all young people interested in a career at the UN to send in their applications, as this can increase the presence of Austrians within the United Nations Organisation.

The selection process aims at recruiting future members of staff of the six working fields of the UN (architecture, information technology, political affairs, radio production (Portuguese, Kiswahili), social affairs and business). In 2013, the successful candidates from Austria will be able to start their job at the United Nations.

Who is eligible to participate? People born on or before 01 Jan. 1980, with Austrian citizenship, a university degree and excellent knowledge of English or French.
