Book Presentation: The Marshall Plan - Since 1947

Professor Guenter Bischof, Director of the Austrian Marshall Plan Center for European Studies at the University of New Orleans, presented the book The Marshall Plan - Since 1947. Saving Europe, Rebuilding Austria, co-authored with Dr. Hans Petschar of the Austrian National Library, at the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC on May 9, 2018.

Guenter Bischof was accompanied by International Security Professor Audrey Kurth Cronin of American University's School of International Service, who served as a discussant. The Ambassador of Austria, Dr. Wolfgang Waldner, delivered opening remarks.

The lively and well informed Q&A session continued over Austrian wine and cheese.

This event was part of the Austrian Lecture Series, jointly hosted by the Embassy of Austria and The Center for Transatlantic Relations at Johns Hopkins University/ SAIS.
