Kurz: Important first success for diplomacy

Minister for Foreign Affairs welcomes progress in negotiations on Iran nuclear programme

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sebastian Kurz, in a first reaction welcomed the solution achieved with Iran on cornerstones for the final agreement on Iran’s nuclear programme: “This is a first important success for international diplomacy. After twelve years of difficult negotiations, we have made a decisive step forwards today. The next three months have to be intensively used to achieve a final agreement. An Iran without nuclear weapons means an increase in stability and security for the Middle East – something, that in view of the numerous wars and crises in the region is the order of the day!”
