March 8 is International Women’s Day

Celebrating this day, young women are offered an opportunity to gain insights into the work at the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs under the Ladies in Leadership programme.

Many successful female diplomats have pursued a career at the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs. Celebrating Women’s Day, we thus want to once again offer young women in particular the opportunity to gain some impressions and insights into the working environment at our Ministry – and also to provide an opportunity to discuss the wide range of activities performed at the Ministry with Federal Minister Sebastian Kurz and Secretary-General for Foreign Affairs Michael Linhart.

Are you a young woman aged 18 to 25?

Are you interested in integration, foreign and European policy and would you like to spend a day at the Ministry?

Then send us your application right now! Answer the following questions in a video and send it together with your CV to: Why is it important that women hold leadership positions? What contribution do you want to make to gender equality? What would be your first official act if you were Foreign Minister or Secretary-General?

What European and Foreign policy field are you especially interested in?

We look forward to having you join us for a day at the Ministry – come along and find out if you too would like to pursue a career at the Foreign Ministry.

Deadline for submission is 2 March 2017.
