The ACF DC and the Embassy of the Principality of Liechtenstein are proud to present the Alvier Trio from the prestigious Academy of Music in Liechtenstein in concert featuring Julian Kainrath (violin), Petar Pejčić (cello) and Dmytro Semykras (piano).
The Academy of Music in Liechtenstein is an internationally recognized institution that is deliberately rooted locally. It takes great pleasure in supporting young people from all over the world and the region, is committed here and internationally, and actively contributes to providing countless people with access to music.
The students are in Washington DC on the invitation of the Ryuji Ueno Foundation to take part in the organization's Washington Semester Leadership Program. The students will participate in lectures, coaching sessions and visit Shenandoah University where they will meet and interact with other advanced students of music.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Julian Kainrath was born in Merano, Italy, in May 2005. He started his violin studies at the age of six. From the age of eight to eleven, he studied with Prof. Dora Schwarzberg. Currently he attends the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, in the class of Prof. Boris Kuschnir. Julian receives a scholarship from the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein and participates in the intensive music weeks and activities held there.
Petar Pejčić was born in Serbia in 2002 into a musical family. He received his first cello lessons at the age of four. After his musical beginnings in Belgrade, he moved to Germany to continue his training at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theater in Leipzig with Prof. Peter Bruns. He is currently enrolled in the Professional Studies program of the renowned Kronberg Academy in Prof. Frans Helmerson's class.
Dmytro Semykras was born in Ukraine in 2001. He is a fourth-year piano student at the Sumy High School of Art and Culture named after D. Bortniansky. He is a scholarship holder of the Liechtenstein International Music Academy and regularly takes part in the intensive weeks and activities of the Academy.
