Join the Austrian Cultural Forum Washington for ORLANDO TRIP, a performing arts concert by Vienna-based collective Fox On Ice. The show re-imagines the mythical character Orlando through music, literature, spoken performance, film, and visual storytelling. Paying tribute to the great European minds Ludovico Ariosto and Virginia Woolf, the production explores fluidity, transformation, and the crossing of borders through a contemporary European lens.

Part concert, part spoken performance, part cinematic experience, ORLANDO TRIP unfolds through twelve songs, intermezzi, and videos that trace the journey of Orlando — a knight, traveler, and ambassador, who crosses the seas several times and finally returns as a masterful and nomadic conqueror of rigid borders. Seamlessly blending stage and film, music and literature, Fox On Ice creates an immersive world where humans and landscapes, masculinity and femininity, reality and myth continuously transform into one another.
