Austrian Start-Up Landing Zone in San Francisco

Nine Austrian startups were selected to venture out on a unique journey to be challenged, accelerated, and pushed beyond their limits in a four week long GoUSA (formerly GoSiliconValley) Startup Landing Zone program in San Francisco throughout the month of October at Open Austria, the joint office of the Federal Ministry of European and International Affairs and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

More than 170 Austrian startups have already gone through the GoSiliconValley-program in the past 13 years and have brought back a piece of the Silicon Valley mindset to Austria and to their future endeavors.

In addition to mentoring sessions, pitching-sessions, workshops and match-making, the program’s highlight is a “Demo Day” on October 17th where start-ups can present their ideas in front of a Silicon Valley audience and continue networking in the historic atmosphere of “The Klamath”, formerly a ferry boat and now San Francisco’s newest event location.
