Isabella Tomás Represents Austria at Global Panel in San Francisco.
On June 11, 2025, in honor of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, Co-Director of OPEN AUSTRIA and Austrian Consul in San Francisco, Isabella Tomás, participated in an international panel celebrating multicultural leadership. The event, hosted by The Expat Woman, took place at Cloudflare headquarters in San Francisco and brought together voices from expat women living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The panel featured representatives from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including India, Japan, MENA, Poland, China, and the Netherlands. Isabella Tomás represented Austria.
Other distinguished speakers included Joanna Lorincz (Polish Professional Women Silicon Valley), Sepideh Nasiri (Women of MENA In Technology), Makiko Kawabe (JWIBA – Japanese Women’s Initiative), and Zeien Cheung (Asians Are Strong). The discussion was moderated by Nyna Caputi, founder and CEO of The Expat Woman.
The evening served as a powerful reminder of the value of diversity and dialogue in building global understanding and inclusive communities.
