Consul General Postl Meets With Idaho Governor Brad Little

On March 21, 2025, Consul General Michael Postl visited the state of Idaho and had the honor of meeting with Governor Brad Little at the State Capitol in Boise. Their discussion centered on strengthening ties between Austria and Idaho, emphasizing shared values, mutual interests in innovation, and opportunities for future economic collaboration.

Among other areas, they identified the following fields as promising for bilateral cooperation: forestry, environmental management, sustainable timber construction, sustainable tourism, and dual education programs. These sectors offer significant potential for joint initiatives and the continued growth of the Austria–Idaho partnership.

This visit represents another meaningful step in advancing partnerships between Austria and the United States at both the state and national levels.

We extend our sincere thanks to Governor Little and the people of Idaho for their warm hospitality and openness. We look forward to ongoing dialogue and cooperation that will further strengthen the bond between our countries.
