Spotlight on Austrian dual education in the U.S.! Ambassador Petra Schneebauer took the plenary stage at the National Youth Apprenticeship Summit 2025 at the end of last week for a fireside chat with CareerWise USA President Brent Parton on the future of workforce development.

Together they discussed how to advance youth apprenticeship as a proven strategy for talent development and economic mobility. From policy frameworks to modern career paths – the discussion underscored how the Austrian model can support the U.S. drive for reindustrialization and talent development.
