To mark International Women’s Day 2026 in the Bay Area, OPEN AUSTRIA joined forces with the Consulate General Germany, the Consulate General of Israel, the Consulate General of Italy, and the American Jewish Committee (AJC) to host a joint event at Intuit in Mountain View on March 18th. Bringing together more than 80 participants, the event created a vibrant platform for exchange among leading voices in artificial intelligence and technology.
The program featured a distinguished panel with participants from each country, including Marianna Tessel, Silvia Veronese, Katharina Borchert, and, representing Austria, Victoria-Elisabeth Gruber, moderated by Michal Lev-Ram. Discussions focused on key topics such as bias in AI, particularly in healthcare, as well as leadership, representation, and influence in the tech sector. Prior to the panel, participants met for a networking lunch, allowing for deeper engagement and cross-sector dialogue. The event highlighted the importance of international collaboration in advancing diversity and strengthening the role of women in technology and innovation.
