Voting in the EU Elections as an Austrian Citizen
European elections 2024
On June 9, 2024, the election of the Austrian Members of the European Parliament will take place in Austria.
Austrians whose main place of residence is abroad can participate in the 2024 European elections by mail. The prerequisite is that they:
are 16 years or older on election day
are registered in the European voter registry by April 25, 2024 at the latest
apply for a ballot in a timely manner

Europawahl 2024
Am 9. Juni 2024 findet in Österreich die Wahl der österreichischen Mitglieder des Europäischen Parlaments statt.
Österreicherinnen und Österreicher mit Hauptwohnsitz im Ausland können per Briefwahl an der Europawahl 2024 teilnehmen. Voraussetzung ist, dass sie
am Wahltag 16 Jahre oder älter sind,
bis spätestens 25. April 2024 in die Europa-Wählerevidenz eingetragen sind und
rechtzeitig eine Wahlkarte beantragen.
