The Annual Ball of the Consular Corps Washington DC took place at the Austrian Embassy on Friday, June 20, 2025. The theme of the night was “An evening in Schönbrunn,” which celebrated Austrian culture, food, wines, and both the 200th anniversary of Johann Strauss and the 60th anniversary of The Sound of Music.

The ball was opened by the sounds of the Blue Danube Waltz and guests were welcomed by Ambassador Petra Schneebauer and the President of the Consular Corps, Michael Cerulus, Consul General of the Embassy of Belgium. The highlight of the evening was the famous raffle with amazing prizes donated by the members of the Consular Corps. It was a very special evening to remember and a wonderful way to end the Consular Corps year.
