OPEN AUSTRIA was honored to contribute to a recent summit hosted by the Femigrants Foundation at the Plug and Play Tech Center, bringing together a diverse group of voices focused on community building, inclusion, and opportunity on April 10.

The conversation highlighted a reality many in their network can relate to: arriving in a new place, navigating unfamiliar systems, and building meaningful connections from the ground up. At OPEN AUSTRIA, this is at the core of what they do, fostering strong ties between Austria and Silicon Valley, and supporting individuals and organizations as they find their footing and expand their networks.

A key theme throughout the summit was the importance of diversity in teams, not only as a value, but as a driver of innovation and success. Equally, the discussions reinforced that challenges are part of the journey, and that strong communities play a vital role in overcoming them.

OPEN AUSTRIA is grateful to Aytakin Aliyeva and the Femigrants Foundation for the invitation and for creating a space that encourages connection, exchange, and shared growth.
