Red Bull Breaks Ground in North Carolina

The Embassy of Austria in Washington, D.C., was proud to take part in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Red Bull, RAUCH Fruchtsäfte, and Ball Corporation integrated beverage campus in Concord, North Carolina on September 9, 2025.

Ambassador Petra Schneebauer joined the event with a virtual greeting, underscoring the importance of Austrian companies’ investment and innovation in the United States. On the ground, our Economic Counselor Leon Scheicher took part in the ceremony alongside representatives from ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA USA in New York and Washington.

This landmark investment will create 700 new jobs and, once fully operational, produce up to 3 billion cans annually. By clustering manufacturing, co-packing, and distribution on one campus, the facility sets new standards for sustainable and localized production.

It is inspiring to see Austria’s global champion Red Bull expand its U.S. presence together with trusted Austrian partner RAUCH and U.S. industry leader Ball Corporation—a strong example of Austrian-American economic cooperation in action.
